Ernest Lynch, CEOSince Medical City McKinney first opened its doors over 90 years ago, our very existence has been focused on serving the residents of McKinney and the surrounding areas. Today, as a thriving 260-bed hospital, we continue to lead the way of meeting and exceeding our growing community’s healthcare needs.

We are proud our hospital is a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center and is the first hospital in Dallas, Collin, Grayson and Fannin Counties to receive The Joint Commission’s Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Joint Replacement. We are also an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.

As a testament to our ongoing commitment, we have expanded our facilities, remodeled existing patient care areas, recruited top-notch physicians and added sophisticated medical and surgical services to meet the dynamic changes that are taking place in McKinney. Medical City McKinney provides comprehensive emergency, diagnostic, medical and surgical services, including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosciences and women’s and children’s services.

Additionally, we have strengthened our medical foundations by adding two new surgical robots, remodeled our labor and delivery suites and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and added an advanced biplane cath lab to treat heart rhythm disorders. We've also recently opened our provider based emergency room, Medical City ER Stonebridge, at Hwy 380 and Custer Road, and obtained our Advanced (Level III) Trauma designation.

With each endeavor, the men and women of Medical City McKinney strive to provide our patients and their family members with the highest quality of compassionate care. We welcome your comments and feedback about your experience at Medical City McKinney and look forward to continuing our commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community members.
