Medical City McKinney (MCM) broke ground on a new state-of-the-art satellite emergency room, Medical City ER Stonebridge, a department of Medical City McKinney, located at the corner of Custer and Hwy 380 in McKinney, Texas.
Scheduled to open early 2015, the new 10,825 square foot provider-based facility will offer comprehensive emergency care in a location that is convenient for Celina, Prosper and McKinney residents.
“We’re excited to extend the services of Medical City McKinney to a new, full-service, provider-based emergency department that will provide the same comprehensive services as the ER located at the hospital,” said Ernest Lynch, III, CEO of Medical City McKinney. "Medical City ER Stonebridge will provide families in Celina, Prosper and McKinney with quick and convenient care for minor and more serious injuries and illnesses.”
The new emergency department will provide the same level of care as a traditional emergency room, including critical resources, specialists and support of Medical City McKinney to ensure high-quality outcomes and continuity of care for patients and families. Both ambulance and walk-in patients are welcome.
Medical City ER Stonebridge will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and registered nurses. Additionally Medical City ER Stonebridge will provide:
- 12 private patient exam rooms including a trauma/code room, an isolation room, and two pediatric themed rooms
- Laboratory Services
- Imaging Services including CT, X-ray and Ultrasound
- On-site blood bank
