Robotic Surgery in McKinney, TX
Medical City McKinney has launched the McKinney Robotic Surgical Institute to encompass the most advanced, multi-specialty robotic surgical procedures and technology.
Medical City McKinney has added two new surgical robots to its operating team including the RIO® Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System, which performs the MAKOplasty™ partial knee resurfacing procedure and total hip replacement, and the latest da Vinci® Si Surgical System utilized by a wide range of specialties including cardiothoracic, general surgery, gynecology and urology.
The RIO robotic arm technology allows orthopedic surgeons to perform knee and hip replacements with utmost precision and accuracy, conserving bone and anatomy, and allowing the implant to last longer.
The da Vinci SI is the most advanced surgical robotic system that provides surgeons with superior visual clarity of tissue and anatomy, surgical dexterity and precision far greater than the human hand and enhanced 3D, high-definition vision of operative field.
"The two surgical robots are enhancing the services we are able to provide our patients. We are committed to providing the community with the latest technology and advanced medicine," said Ernest C. Lynch, III, Medical City McKinney CEO.
